Bangkok Temples are many. The most popular are Wat Pho temple, and opposite the river Wat Arun. And just down the road in china town is the solid gold Wat Trai Mit.

Wat Pho: next to the Grand Palace featurees the 46m long gigantic gold plated reclining Buddha.
Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn): famous Pagoda that sparkles magnificently in the morning sun.
Wat Ratchanatdaram: temple built in 1846 by King Rama III.
Wat Indravihan: located on Wisutkasat Road in Bang Khun Phrom area.
Wat Bowon Niwet: temple built in 1829 features Buddha image from 1357.
Vimanmek Mansion Museum: the worlds largest golden teak building.
Wat Trai Mit: located on Yaowarat Road in China Town, near the Hulamphong train Station. This temple houses a very impressive solid gold Buddha which weighs 5 tonnes.
Erawan Shine: take sky train station Chitlom.
Wha Mahathat: lesser known temple
Auyatya Temple: lots of Temples are in Auyatya a day trip away.
