The Coyote Bar is more or less is set up like a nightclub. When you enter the place you come directly into a nice lounge room. On the left is a bar, then some stairs down into a space with couches and a stage where a Thai band played cover songs. AND Hot Thai girls in Bikinis!
Most Thai DJs plays mainly Hip Hop and a few Thai songs. The crowd is mixed. There are young guys and there are old guys. Tthe older guys are more liked as they tend to spend more money, and pump slower.
Now the way it works is the following. At a Coyote Bar you either you need to buy a bottle or you become a member. Becoming a member is definitely the way to go as it will safe you a lot of money. A membership is 20000 Thai Baht (about 500 Euro) and gives you 10 bottles of whiskey plus all mixers are free. This is excellent as normally you spend a lot on the mixers. Nonmembers pay at least 3000 THB Baht or more for bottles of whiskey.
You will be approached by the mamasan sooner or later. Nothing is pushy here though.She will ask you if you want a girl to sit with you. She then drinks with you ... You will tip 300 Baht/hour, or 1200 Baht to sit all night. You flirt and dance with your hostess.
